Weapons Comparitive mind

The arrow:Symbolically, the Arrow represents Thought. Symbols associated
with Sacred Teachings are very ancient. Therefore, we must first understand the nature of those times before we can understand the meanings of the symbols that were used during those times. In ancient times, nothing travelled faster than an Arrow.
An Arrow could bring down the swiftest bird or the most powerful beast. An Arrow could also travel great distances very quickly. An Arrow gets to the "heart of the matter" by first piercing the protective outer layer of its target.
When an Archer has spent his old Arrow he reaches into his quiver
and selects a new one.Thoughts, like Arrows, are powerful and swift. Nothing travels faster than Thought. With Thought we can instantly travel great distances of time, space and dimension. Our Thoughts can revisit old relationships, walk on the moon or travel to the farthest reaches of outer space. The arrows supports the constitution of life that of Bheeshma;the arrows seats life. The arrows can multiply ;our thoughts can.Arrows pierce a fish eyes.n ancient Eastern Indian mythology, the fish is a symbol of transformation and creation. This is observed in the ancient flood myth in which Vishnu transformed himself into a fish (Matsya) to save the world from a great flood. This means thought can strike transformation and advent creation.
The Sword:In the physical realm The Sword is a Symbol of Authority. It is an instrument used by a king or queen to confer Knighthood. Knighthood elevates a person to a higher "station" in society by recognizing that persons achievements and qualities as being far above normal and thereby worthy of a higher status.
The Sword:Symbolically, The Sword represents The Mind.Just as The Sword can cut in both directions, so can The Mind dissect both sides of an issue until the basic fact (Truth) is revealed. We use the term "double-edged sword" as a metaphor when referring to the pros and cons involved in our decision making processes. The Sword, as a symbol of The Mind, is alluded to in both myth and legend. A sword represents a plane.A plane has duality as one side cuts and pierces.Clashing of swords which represents collision of two planes.
Mahabaharata gives Yudhisthira a spear and bheema and duryodhana a "gada" or a mace. This is highly symbolic of the characters of war.
A spear is the ultimate baton of power.A spear is also an arrowhead but needs guidance continuously to shoot.A spear always needs to be held in hand.A spear needs to be retrieved after it has done the work,During war the king throws the first spear, the long handle authorizing his kingsmanship. All this conclusions show that a spear needs to be handed over to a just moral and also a persistent king.Yudhisthira or dharma thus handled a spear.Again,Spears are identified with the axis mundi or world axis, especially in Japan where Izanagi and Izanami created the first island from the salt which dripped from a jewel-encrusted spear with which they had stabbed the primordial sea. As an axis mundi, the spear may be traveled as a path between the three flat worlds of heaven, earth, and hades. Additionally, spears may act as messengers since notes may be tied to their shafts before they are thrown. Dharma travels to heaven with the physical body:another strong similarity.
A mace is the symbol of free will and power.A mace is non uniform, a spherical iron ball with a wooden bottom.A mace can break rocks but cannot pierce through.A mace of massive swing generates a disturbance in the wind.a mace is to be balanced from the center of gravity.A mace was thus ideally fitted in the hands of bheema and duryodhana.Bheema represents prana while duryodhana an a blind mind.Bheema is the son of vayu; the Power of Vitality, the Air Element in the Dorsal Center, or Anahata Chakra. One practices his Pranayama controlled the center , thereby calming the breath and controlling the mind and all of its sense objects.A blind mind(Duryodhana) is also vayu.He is fleeting, destructive, collosal and collective.Duryodhana had the support of a hundred brothers.A wind or a destructive tornado does not come at once instant. It grows in numbers and then strikes.Duryodhana struck when all the brothers the warriors favored him.A tornado has the eye in the middle.A strong tropical cyclone will harbor an area of sinking air at the center of circulation. If this area is strong enough, it can develop into a large "eye".However the strength decreases if warm air passes in or the eye at the centre is stuck.
We cannot discuss the chakra in this blog which we hope to replete in some later instant..

Ashwyathamma:mind dreams reality

Ashyathamma :Son of drona grat warrior body guard of bheeshma a person of many facets luring in the shadows a person with strong motive ; lone survivor of the kaurava camp.
One who kills the pandavas sons when sleeping. An immortal being but devoid of all the loves of life.
Well I will not exaggerate about the character of ashwyathamma.I will start of from the very battle of Kurukshetra.Drona the master fights the battle.Bheema kills an elephant and tells drona his son is dead.Drona kills self when he is told by dharma that his son is killed.
The resemblance of elephant is very important.
Elephants in dreams may represent knowledge, power, and strength. They are also associated with long memory and "thick skin." However, depending on the dream’s details, the elephant may be a symbol of a large burden. Additionally, in the dream you may be making efforts to remember something important and of great magnitude.Elephant is killed by bheema;the prana destroys dreams if they are negative.Dreams have both positive and negative impact on the subconscious self.
Drona is the master ,he is a bramhin who has taken up weapons to be the guru and his son is his dream.Hearing his death or the death of a dream;the master(drona ) looses control of self and is eventually killed.
Dreams kill the power of the senses(the five pandavas) in inactive state. So ashyathamma killed the pandava sons in sleep.
Ashwathamma is immortal. He has no death.Dreams drive us in generating the strongest affections and can also make us redundant in action.A dream cannot be killed from the mind.
Shiva blessed an elephant in immortality.Ashwyathamma represents the dream that remains consistently in mind.A dream happens in a single plane of thought.
Two dreams cannot mutually co exist in the same mindset with similar time and space reality.

Wilderness and venture capital:ghatotkach

The Wilderness is a Metaphor which describes an Inner Journey.Ancient Teachings from all civilizations speak of Great Masters who travelled into the Wilderness seeking a place of Solitude where they could Meditate and Pray.
These Teachings go on to say that, while in the Wilderness, these Great Masters would grapple with Demons that resided there. We are also taught that this Journey of Solitude, and the conquering of Demons, was a task (a trial) that the Master needed to face and overcome alone. Once the Master completed His time in the
Wilderness, and conquered His Demons, He left the Wilderness having achieved a Higher Level of Consciousness. But what is this Wilderness, and why do all the Great Masters Journey into it?
The Wilderness Symbolizes a Time and a Place in the Master's life where his Journey "pauses" so that He can confront andconquer an Inner-Conflict that is blocking His Spiritual Path. The Physical Wilderness is a real place to where the Master travels in order to be alone. Once He is in the Physical Wilderness, he is able to relax, meditate and explore the Secret Realm of His Spiritual Wilderness. His Spiritual Wilderness is where His innermost Thoughts, Feelings and Conflicts reside.
The Demons that the Master "grapples with" are His deepest and darkest fears and doubts. They are the Specters of his subconscious: the Beasts that only He can Confront, Conquer and Banish. Once these Demons are defeated, and exorcised, the Master leaves the physical wilderness Spiritually Cleansed. This Spiritual Cleansing is His Rite of Passage. It is the process by which the Master Initiates Himself into a Higher Realm of Consciousness.
We all know that Bheema defeats hidimbi demon and marries Hidimba to give birth to Ghatotkatch who later comes at krishnas persuassion to fight the holy war and dies in the hands of karna but destroys the lance karna had reserved for arjuna.
This is somethin that many have not discovered the relation with self. The demon is the darkness of mind which prana destroys(Bheema). The mind remains in wilderness but on destroyin the darkness the prana get the sudden lease of life.It is similar to a scientist who ventures into many experiments not finding answers but a mistake or an unintended change of words on his part suddenly brings in a whole new array to his research or science.his sudden venture yields a lot more dividends than his entire years work. But this is in direct conflict of the sixth sense. The sixth sense brings pre monitions. The scientist may bring in those changes but still at the end may be unhappy with the progress of his report...
I feel this is a genuine instance to bring in the character of ghatotkacha from the wilderness but he is dead just like a venture capital or a sudden stimulus to the market is put in the market to test the market or save the business (self)..
It is a new idea people plz comment....

The women characters :Mother

well I am not qualified enough to talk of the women characters of Mahabharata not just of the characters of Mahabharata but women in general.Their mindset follow a set of more complex rules that the entire mahabharata. Its not possible for us to tell how draupadi inspired the five pandavas at war.
What i can talk of on mothers day today and every day about the mother is a separate reflection altogether.
My mind suggest that the love of a mother and her her different affliction and affections to her child was treated with great care by the narrator of mahabharata.
Satyavati: a mother who fights with keen ness for her childs rights.
Gandhari :a mother who is blind to her childs follies and small mistakes.
Kunti: a mother who brings up her child all by herself.
Yasodha: a mother who dispenses a lot of love for a child she adopts( a mdern world dictum)
Devaki: a mother who confines her dreams and asspirations concentrating her total energies for her child.
The narrator of mahabharata has written the characters with aplomb deliberately separates all the attributes and names them as separate characters.
But to all the characters he puts the essence of sustainance of mother earth who hold their own and also stand as a protective cover for their child as and when they need the mothers support..

Ladder of dharma:Yudhishtira going up

At the end of their journey Yudhishthira survives the cold as sees a ladder wrung from the sky looking for the living to go with his physical body into the land of abode. He hear stories how angels come down the ladder in search of man.Symbolically, The Ladder is a connection between the world of matter below with the domain of Spirit above. It symbolizes the spiritual stairway which enables a Seeker or Initiate to ascend to higher realms of consciousness in the Quest for Spiritual
Perfection. The Ladder, which is rich in Symbolism and Metaphor, consists
of Horizontal Rungs and two Vertical Uprights. The Horizontal rungs represent progressively higher levels of consciousness and the two Vertical Uprights, (I I), represent the symbol for duality.
The horizontal rungs which we put step on remind us that our spiritual journey is upward, and the vertical uprights which we cling to and seek higher remind us that our upward journey occurs within the realm of duality i.e either going up or down.
As The Ladder has no moving parts, it symbolizes ascension by way of personal Desire and Effort. The Ladder also reminds us that reaching the highest realms of consciousness is not a short, swift journey. Each rung represents a gradual ascent whereby Wisdom, knowledge, enlightenment and perfection are earned
by us one step at a time. However, we must also keep in mind that no journey is without its rests and pauses. Therefore, whenever we require a respite during our spiritual ascent, the rungs of The Ladder provide us with the support and strength we
need until we are ready to take our next step upward. In addition, The Symbol of the Ladder also reminds us that our upward ascent, from the bottom-most rung to the upper-most rung, is a journey through the realm of duality. Before we can step up
to the next higher rung on The Ladder we must first experience and master the lessons of duality which exist at our current level of elevation.
As we steadfastly ascend the rungs of The Ladder we slowly elevate ourselves, higher and higher, above the lower plane of the superficial and mundane. Upon reaching the higher rungs of The Ladder, we begin to breathe in the rarefied air of Higher Consciousness. It is at these higher levels of consciousness that the mysteries of Eternity slowly begin to un-veil their secrets to us. When we reach the top-most rung of The Ladder we enter the realm of highest consciousness. Through our personal Desire and Effort we have Transcended Duality and achieved entrance into the Infinite
Domain of Enlightenment and Unity.
The ladder is controlled by the fact that only one can go up the ladder at one instant of time. This specifies the road bellow is a far more difficult one and we need to find the the exact co ordinates where the ladder is hung and then start climbing. The path or the no of steps in the ladder is also different for different spiritual seekers.

Basket:Krishna, Moses ,Karna,Jesus

It is more than distinct evidence that the super powers super warriors have a single common factor that drives their birth or life after that birth. All of them were put in a basket and then transferred into a basket of reed and carried either by the river or carried by hands.
It is also to be mantained that unlike moses and karna who had divine powers as they were messengers of God;Krishna was rather supreme god so he was carried by hand over the top of head and seshnaga is a representation of the protective cover that stands over consciousness as protective cover. The hands that carry the basket over are the hands of man but force of nature that sustains conscious thoughts over the material mind.
The symbols in the story of baby Moses in the reed boat interface with the symbols in several other legends. Note that the basket is a symbolic representation of the womb, and the story is one about birth or incarnation. The grail doesn't hold liquid, it is suspended in liquid. Remember that Moses had a brother and sister, Aaron and Miriam. In Hebrew 'aron' means chest, ark or box, and Miriam can be easily seen as connected to Maria, Mary and the notion of waters. We remember that Moses was put in the Nile in a sealed reed boat, and rescued by the pharaoh's daughter. After rescuing Osiris, Isis takes him to a reed swamp to hide him. In Gilgamesh, the Lord suggests that people tear down their reed house, and build a cubic sanctuary from the flood. Our main concern in these stories is water and a container, not for the water, but to traverse the water in as a vehicle. All the containers in these stories represent the womb, the tomb, and the body; also the cosmos by extension.

Jesus born in a manger: kept in a reed basket:-
Most people don't know that a manger is a feed trough for animals, and while you mainly see them depicted as wooden with straw in them, in actuality many are made of stone and look not unlike the sarcohpagus from the Great Pyramid. The manger is not a place for animals to rest, but a thing that they eat from. The notion of birth, incarnation, is being tied to the notion of eating and the idea of the joining of a spiritual and an animal nature into one being. The cobra and vulture are the symbols or these upper and lower kingdoms, the body and the spirit, and can be seen on the pharaoh's headdress. Symbolically Egypt represents the body and Israel the spirit. Remember that there were two Hebrew Kingdoms as well.

Karna was carried in a basket too.Karna represents sixth sense of mind.Something part of our Perception ;a part of creationism not evolution. So Karna comes as a gift from nature not as something we acquire.
Thus each of this warriors of history have resembled in birth and actions. They fought their battle for dharma.
Now lets view what can be the meaning of basket as an entity.
I have three propositions.
1)The basket resembles a cosmic seed: a protective cover for the gyaan or supreme.
2)The flow of the basket downstream may be a rerpresentation of the minds of the people who new that the alluvial silt that comes down the river is responsible for farming.
3)The basket represents the sky.a part of geometry many may contradict why but i feel this can be explained as a continuation of this blog at a later instant. The layers of the reed basket represents the horizon. When one lies in a basket and flows one can only see the sky above. This may be symbolic as when we look up the horizon we can c the sky or the entire universe.
This brings us to the interesting dimension of river.Let me tell river does not necessary mean flow of water it is symbolic of the flow of time.
Rivers also Symbolize borders, boundaries, transcendence, mirrors, the subconscious, and persistence. The alluring belief that river represents "baitarani" a river crossing whom man enters the heavenly abode cannot be ruled out.The border between realism and sur realism.
River also signifies mind. The mind has a normal flow but at times goes through stagnation. The river that links into the ocean has more than mere existence.A river like a mind goes through temporary turbulence.A basket in the river of mind suggest the seated consciousness within. The basket flows with the mind. Its how we let the basket reach the proper bank on either side of the stream.

On brain mind and computer a hypothesis

That human beings are rational is a truism; the ability to reason formally and in an abstract manner seems to be completely lacking in all other living beings. There are certainly many other human capabilities, but the ability which most marks an individual out as truly human is this ability to think, deliberate upon, analyse and categorize facts, formulate ideas, and decide on a course of action. These are truly the results of a developed mind.
Before the advent of modern science there was a clear demarcation between the mind and the brain. This distinction has become blurred with the passage of time. But the study of the brain as a neural machine and the development of computers as automata have enabled us to make equally bold statements about both - about what could possibly be done by them and what limits are impossible for them to overstep.
Vedantic thinkers classify mental functions into four basic categories: samkalpa-vikalpa (cogitation, in the mode of manas), niscaya (ascertainment or determination, in the buddhi mode), ahamkara (ego), and smrti (memory as chitta). Thus, apart from the faculty of thought, the mind is supposed to have a sense of identity, an ego or I-sense. Furthermore, it has the capacity for introspection, which computers are said not to have. In the case of the brain it is difficult to say whether it is able to introspect or not.artificial-intelligence community finds the ability of one part of the brain to observe the thought processes of the rest can be termed introspection. Moreover, at most times, this ability manifests itself not as true self-observation from a detached (or outsider's)standpoint but as a sort of recollection of the past or as planning for the future.
Brain, in contrast to mind, is easier to explain. It is aliving mass of neurons, interconnected by its many dendrites, passing signals from one nerve to the other all the time. Of course, believers in holistic science argue that the brain when taken as a "whole" becomes something else, that it is more than the sum total of its neurons.

Brain vs computer:Whereas the human brain has got billions of neurons, each neuron has only a very basic processing power. Thus a brain can be thought of as a multiprocessor parallel computer where each processor is only capable of only few rudimentary operations, like checking if some signal is received or not. An average computer, on the other hand, consists of a single but powerful processing unit capacle of doing hundreds of thousands of arithmetic computations in a fraction of a second.

So will brain be replaced by an intelligent computer only time explains when..........

Mahabharata and cognitive modelling

The universal form of krishna says to Arjuna:"This life of yours which you are living is not merely a piece of this entire existence, but is in a certain sense the "whole"; only this whole is not so constituted that it can be surveyed in one single glance. This, as we know, is what the Brahmins express in that sacred, mystic formula which is yet really so simple and so clear: tat tvam asi, this is you. Or, again, in such words as "I am in the east and the west. I am above and below, I am this entire world."
Neural network models have been used by cognitive scientists to model behaviour. The limitations of neural models have been highlighted by Sacks (12) and others who point out that these models do not take into account the notion of self.
he concept of "mind" is as perplexing as ever....There is a profusion of little theories-theories of vision, pain, behaviour-modification, and so forth-but no broad unifying concepts... Cognitive psychology has recently been proclaimed as the revolutionary concept which will lead us away from the sterility of behaviourism. The freedom to talk about major psychological topics such as awareness and perceptual illusions does, indeed, represent a great advance over behaviourism. But on closer examination, cognitive psychology turns out to be little more than the psychology of William James published in 1890; some neuroscience and computer technology have been stirred in with the old psychological ingredients, but there have been no important conceptual advances.... We are adrift, without the anchor of neuropsychological theory, in a sea of facts-and practically drowning in them. We desperately need new concepts, new approaches."
Mind and hardware:This approach allows one to separate questions of the peripherals of awareness, such as vision, hearing and the mind, from the person who obtains this awareness which acts as the processor. The person is the conscious self, who is taken to be a reservoir of infinite potential. But the actual capabilities of the animal are determined by the neural framework or the configuartion of its brain. This hardware may be compared to a mirror. The hardware of the human brain represents the clearest structure to focus the self.
A neural network modelling involves an input layer;hidden layer and output layer.
The hidden layer of mind has four different sheaths: Energy sheath (pranamaya kosa)
o Mental sheath (manomaya kosa) ; Intellect sheath (vijnanamaya kosa); Emotion sheath (anandamaya kosa)whereas the input and output layer is the physical sheath and same.
Manas is the lower mind which collects sense impressions. Its perceptions shift from moment to moment. This sensory-motor mind obtains its inputs from the senses of hearing, touch, sight, taste, and smell derived from the input layers. Each of these senses may be taken to be governed by a separate agent.Ahamkara is the sense of I-ness that associates some perceptions to a subjective and personal experience.
Once sensory impressions have been related to I-ness by ahamkara, their evaluation and resulting decisions are arrived at by buddhi, the intellect. Manas, ahamkara, and buddhi are collectively called the internal instruments of the mind.
Next we come to citta, which is the memory bank of the mind. These memories constitute the foundation on which the rest of the mind operates. But citta is not merely a passive instrument. The organization of the new impressions throws up instinctual or primitive urges that creates different emotional states.

This mental complex surrounds the innermost aspect of consciousness which is called atman. It is also called the self, brahman, or jiva. Atman is considered to be beyond a finite enumeration of categories.

Cognitive abilities arise from a continuing reflection on the perceived world and this question of reflection is central to the brain-mind problem, the measurement problem of physics, and the problem of determinism and free-will. (14) A dualist hypothesis (15) to explain brain-mind interaction or the process of reflection meets with the criticism that this violates the conservation laws of physics. On the other hand a brain-mind identity hypothesis, with a mechanistic or electronic representation of the brain processes, does not explain how self-awareness could arise. At the level of ordinary perception there exists a duality and complementarity between an autonomous (and reflexive) brain and a mind with intentionality.
Reality may be represented in terms of a number of categories. These categories form the substratum of the classification in Saivism. These categories define the structure of the physical world and of agents and their minds. But this classification is not rich enough to describe the processes of consciousness as it is mentioned as a single category.
The cognitive categories of Saivism are of relevance in computer science. At present only a subset of these categories can be dealt with by the most versatile computing machines. Current research is focused on the lower categories such as endowing machines with action capacities (as in robotics) and powers of sense perception (as in vision). At the higher levels, machines can be endowed with some capacity for judgement that typically involves computation of suitably framed cost functions, or finding patterns, of choosing between hypotheses, but the capacities of concretization.(Science of Consciousness In Ancient India by Subhash Kak, Phd)

Chariot and wheel

In the first installment I would like you to reflect to the famous Mahabhrata serial where time was shown as a charioter wheel. Here wheel represents time and evolution:
Lets draw back to mahabharata :we find many instances where chariot wheel is used in syllogism with both motion and direction.
The various instances of a chariot in mahabharata involves:
Karna being brought up by a charioter. This means he belonged to a family who accompanies ones journey
Krishna being the chariot driver of arjuna.Krishna is a metaphor for consciousness.A person is compared to a chariot that is pulled in different directions by the horses yoked to it; the horses represent the senses. The kind is the driver consciousness :Krishna who holds the reins to these horses; but next to the mind sits the true observer, the self, who represents a universal unity. Without this self no coherent behaviour is possible.
The chariot of Karna being stuck in mud when arjuna kills him.A evolutions happens in time and creation in "no time".Time itself is a dimension of the creation matter and space.Karna represents sixth sense. The sixth sense substitutes all other senses Evolution of "Karna" must stop in order to win the battle against kauravas.Karna is now bound by material desires and that is how wheel stucks on the soft ground.
The wheel of time ;the wheel of distortion.Karna has become "Angraj"he is ruling the material world so one who is listening to Krishna is needed to kill the maligned and deluded sixth sense.
Defenceless, Abhimanyu fought with the wheel of his chariot when he enters the byuha:Abhimanyu represents arjuna in every form of self except the very fact that he has not conquered the last chakra :the 7th chakra of kundalini. Thus carrying the wheel on his head represents his struggle to control time to become the witness
to become at the state where t=0 :the seventh chakra.the state of shiva when one feels complete weightlessness and lack of ego.
The charioter Sanjay had the prenominition that krishna was delivering gita of self to Arjuna..........:Here charioter is an explanation for a reflective mind which engages his senses to detect the source of consciousness.
Let us ponder and realize why a charioter or a controller has been given so much substance in Mahabharata.
plz post ur invaluable comments........

power vs dharma:Mahabharata

The soul of the mahabharata lies in this conversation. Many accept Krishna consciousness as the sole dharma of achieving peace and serenity. But Krishna also showed that Power and dharma are highly compatible. When Yudishtira wanted to give up power ;krishna taunts him.He convinces even arjuna that achieving the seat of power;Hastinapura is their Dharma. If we look at nature,Nature has three kinds of powers:creation,Sustainance and destruction.this forms part of natures dharma of evolution.
The concept of dharma has many meanings in Mahabharata but the closest meaning compatible with power is birth right. It was a known fact that both duryodhana and Yudhisthira were both destined for the throne because of their blood. But who was dharmic.I think both were right in their places.Durydhana was doing his dharma of fulfilling his fathers wishes and his own claims from legacy.yudhishthira too was the eldest and doing his dharma of fulfiling the elders wishes. But what set them apart and made Duryodhana a sub altern to Yudhisthira was their acceptance of power.Duryodhana wanted a totalitarian control where the kauravas wanted to uproot whereas the pandavas were more benevlent and wanted to delegate.
Power as explained in mahabharata can be thought of in many realms.
Ownership:If I own something then I can also use it in any way I like. If I own a chair I can set fire to it, which I couldn't do if I had borrowed it from you. If I own money, I can spend it any way I choose.
Position:Where you occupy a recognized position, then I will obey the rules regarding that position (rather than obeying you, per se).y well have formal authority vested in them by the company or the country.I think all the greatest warriors had the confidence of power from position.
Access control:Another form of ownership is where you are the gatekeeper to something that is desired.Personal assistants control access to the managers they serve. Librarians control access to knowledge.Bheeshma,Vidura and karna had this type of power in hand.
Knowledge:Knowledge is power, as they say. If I know something, then I can use it to my advantage. Knowledge may come in several forms:The power of knowledge has been multifaceted in mahabharata.Technical knowledge came from drona, balarama and parashurama and spritual motivation was given by krishna.

Skill:Skill is closely related to knowledge, but is the ability to do something rather than just know it.This power goes beyond contention of discussion in mahabharata.

Trust:If you earn my respect then I will trust you and this gives you far greater power to ask me for things, as I will not need to wonder whether you may take advantage of me.I think this was one lack of power responsible for the downfall of kauravas. The greates warriors Bheeshma and drona had everything except trust from duryodhana camp and were ailing.
Self determination:The entire credit goes to krishna for bringing out the true realism of dharma through consciousness and power of karma in the minds of arjuna and the rest of the pandava camp.
This are the attributes of power.
But power manifest in six ways or modes in every management scheme:
a)Coercive—meaning ones who compel team members to follow their decisions:Duryodhana and Dritharashtra suffered from this complexion of power.

b)Authoritative—the ‘come with me’ type:The authority can be segregated between two factions of dharma and adharma and how all the warriors find themselves torn between the two.
c)Affiliating—ones who work through close association;Bheeshma,Shakuni and karna and the entire pandava clan worked for it.
d)Democratic—those who believe in building consensus;yudhisithira tries doing this althrough...
e) Coaching—the ones who believe in mentoring. No one better than krishna.

It is astounding the type of complex relations that have been potrayed in mahabaharata between power and dharma and complex set of power and attachments they follow.
Need further discussions need to elaborate...............

Game of dice implication

Friends lets introduce a few mathematical terms while introducing the game of dice. The event can be dependent or independent fall. However the choice is random. The throw is however independent of the external forces. The dice rolls on its own.
The Dice Game is a cosmic symbol for Life and its metaphorical implications are not shallow (Handelman & Shulman). Each dice stands for one of the four Yugas and in Shiva stories it is understood that the Lord throws the dice and loses
himself into the manifestation of creation. Yudhisthira has much to learn, not
just to be a better dice player, but he must learn through experience to become
a wiser man who does indeed deserve to be the ruler of his kingdom. Yudhisthira
and the others in the epic must, as Krishna Chaitanya/KK Nair says, ‘evolve
into a finer grain of being.’
Yudhisthira is a man of Dharma, with supposedly impeccable morality and yet he foolishly gambles away his wealth, kingdom, and even his brothers and wife, Draupadi. Why does Yudhisthira always loose never to win a single game in hastinapura.
In his book In The Dice Game of Shiva: How Consciousness Creates the Universe, Richard Smoley presents a description of the mythical game.
Shiva is Consciousness (Purusha), Parvati is the contents of Consciousness (Prakriti), and the dice game itself is the beginning of manifestation in creation -- it represents how Consciousness creates the universe. The logic of why Shiva always loses is that Consciousness in its pure form has no attributes -- it simply sees (hence as an Upanishad says, Shiva is the "seer of seeing"). Any qualities that we can ascribe to Consciousness are immediately seen -- they are part of the world, and the world is Parvati. And, so Parvati always wins. As the world, Parvati is the sum total of all experience.
Now the contention comes into being why does Yudhisthira the apostle of dharma loose the dice game to Shakuni. One has to keep in mind that the game was played in the Courtroom of Hastinapura.Yudhishtira does not loose to Shakuni but to the Hastinapura court.
Dharma also in the purest self has no manifestations, no attributes in the material self.Hastinapura is reminiscent of the material world. Thus when we attach dharma to material world it has no immediate impact. Thus dharma in the conspicuous self looses.

Vanabasha vindicated

I have always querried in the mindset of the earliest spiritual leaders and gurus. What was their conception of leading their heroes into a vanabasha away from rule and civilization and in isolation. It struck me that in both the Mahabharata and the Ramayana, each hero (Yudhishthira and Rama) begins his forest journey not alone, but with his wife (in the Mahabharata, with the wife he shares with his brothers) and at least one brother. The forest journey thus takes on an entirely different aspect for the Hindu hero. He is not trying to find his own unique path, but instead, together with his kin, to gain the skills-and assume the attitude-he will need to accomplish the task he was destined to perform.A community of equals, of brothers, of friends, helps humble a future leader. In the forest, he is no longer in the seat of secular power where he would rule over his fellow man, but in a place where he becomes dependent on his equals for survival.A man in the forest comes in close harmony with nature.
Why did the Yudhisthira and Rama go on exile?
Many might say it was enforced on them ;Yes it was.....But a single mover for going to exile was repentance.Rama was exiled and accepted because he repented for his fathers sorrow and went for it.Yudishtira repented because of hastinapura loss and his dignity. They were thus brought down to the level of ordinary people and not kings. In the forest no one is master; no one is servant. Just as the subjects of the secular world do not look up to him in the forest, the hero does not look up to those around him. Constantly on a relatively equal plane with his brothers, the hero develops an attitude toward the divine merely by treating his friends and his minimum sources as adequate. A forest or a harsh environment also involved struggle and improvization. The pandavas were a lot more prepared for battle as they had conditioned their mind and body in the harsh terrains and could fight even with hunger.Kauravas lagged behind as they had built there armoury but could not keep the fight in the physchological or temparamental level whereas pandavas alleviated in isolation

Jayadratha illusions why arjuna kills him:

Mahabharata pursues symbolism and day to day science through such calmity that it is astounding.
The two lesser known characters I intend to discuus is kichaka and jayadratha and how they can be explained in self and the personal level.
Having pledged to enter the fire if he failed to kill the Sindhu king Jayadratha, whom he held principally responsible, by the end of the day, Arjuna in the process kills an entire akshauhini, or more than hundreds of thousands of soldiers. In the climactic moment, the sun is close to setting and thousands of warriors still separate Arjuna and Jayadratha. Seeing his friend's plight, the Lord Krishna, his charioteer raises his Sudarshana Chakra to cover the Sun, faking a sunset. The Kaurava warriors rejoice over Arjuna's defeat and imminent death, and Jayadratha is exposed in a crucial moment, where upon the Lord's urging, Arjuna sets loose a powerful arrow that decapitates Jayadratha. This note of the act of protection of Krishna of his righteous friend and disciple will be incomplete without adding that Jayadratha's father, the old and sinful king Vridhakshtra had blessed his son that anyone who caused his head to fall to the ground would cause his own head to burst. Jayadratha's head is carried by the arrow to his own father's hands, who was meditating near the battlefield; who in his shock drops the head and himself dies of his own blessing.riddle of the Sunset happening twice on 29th October 5561 BC, when Jayadratha was killed. It was not a divine miracle done by Krishna, but was a physical phenomenon caused by refraction of the Sunrays, like the mirage.Jayadratha was killed by Arjuna breaking the layers of chakravuha. It is not proven whether jayadratha was killed by breaking the chakravuha but Arjuna had conqured the vuha.Arjuna in the physchological level represents self .Jayadratha represents a mirage and chakravuha the seven levels or layers of mind the seven levels of kundalini.Jayadratha was thus an illusion of mind;Jayadratha was killed at the bank of a river which is also scientifically viable for generation of the mirage as air warms up giving the sense of a mirage. Why does arjuna vow to kill jayadratha and hold him responsible for killing.Abhimanyu represents the self but he has not conquered the topmost kundali that of ego.An person with ego would believe a mirage or would atleast try to go near and check it.
Another proof A person in a desert wandering around seeking water would check for a mirage or try for it building his hopes and intelligence around. This is symbolic for the head. But when he reaches that spot the mirage is gone ,killed and with it his hopes of finding water and likely drop to the ground. Thus anyone who killed jayadratha would pay the price of loosing his own head or mind.

Symbolism of the other weapons of war

Mahabaharata gives Yudhisthira a spear and bheema and duryodhana a "gada" or a mace. This is highly symbolic of the characters of war.
A spear is the ultimate baton of power.A spear is also an arrowhead but needs guidance continuously to shoot.A spear always needs to be held in hand.A spear needs to be retrieved after it has done the work,During war the king throws the first spear, the long handle authorizing his kingsmanship. All this conclusions show that a spear needs to be handed over to a just moral and also a persistent king.Yudhisthira or dharma thus handled a spear.
This is an allusion to the fact that krishna asked bheema to hit in the middle to weaken duryodhana.
I have many other ideas.Others plz cntribute........
Bheema

Archery only for the greatest warriors;

It is a matter of common perception that the greatest warriors of hindu mythology are archers. The plot of mahabharata and ramayana revolves around warriors who were archers.Rama,Meghnada,Arjuna,Bheeshma,Karna,Abhimanyu were the greatest archers of History. It is a known fact that the weapons used in the 10th and 11th century AD were more of swords and lances. But why has archery been given so much predominance in hindu and mayan civilizations. This is of high significance and need to be dealt in the physical level.
I would give four instances of why we can believe archery is given predominance over the rest.
a)Firstly, the drawn bow is a paradigm of the peace from which the War and indeed all manifestation, proceeds; for all the tensions are held in equilibrium. Balanced in harmony are the three gunas, or cosmic “strains”: the upward tension or tendency, called Sattwa — that which strives toward the light; the downward, called Tamas, which pulls toward darkness and obscurity; and the outward or fiery tendency of Rajas. It is from the interplay of these three gunas that all manifestation takes its rise. Thus the loosing of the arrow, in which the three strains are simultaneously released resulting in the tremendous burst of energy.
b)Secondly ,which describes the horizon of earth. The thread is attached to the arrow, recalling the passage which describes the source as “the Sun Whose ray doth bind us all like jewels upon a string”. The words “ray” and “rain” are closely related, for the rain is a straight “ray”, or manifestation of God’s Light on earth as well as blessings relieving the earth of its darkness and dryness at the same time. Sun is revered by both the vedic and the mayan civilization and was considered the source of happiness and sustainance for the entire planetary system.
c)The arrow is here associated with the needle, and its flight-end with the “eye”, the four quarters being “sewn together”. Thus we border upon the solar symbolism of the needle and of sewing, which takes us beyond our present theme.
d)The arrows are also a symbolism of the neural network ;nerve system or nerve stimulus.Arrow remains a metaphor that for the electrical impulse that is present to transmit information among two neural synapses. An apt demonstration is that of arjuna was an archer and arjuna remains the self.Arjuna a symbolism of self is the greatest proponent. Our body combines through various electro mechanical impulses for the proper maintence of the organic system.
It is also of immense significance that Rama a warrior was an archer and krishna became the greatest friend of arjuna who was an archer. An arrow head does not only represent a weapon but it is one with penetration.Wisdom enters our body and mind through penetration.Ramayana and mahabharata talks of two different modes by which wisdom and consciousness enters our mind.In the first instance Rama fought the war ;God fights his own war through weapons ;where the weapons are physically shot by God.In mahabharata ;Krishna also fights his own war against adharma. But in this case Krishna fights battles where the arrow is shot by a physical being .Wisdom is transfered among senses under control of a supreme entity but the all powerful does not throw the arrows but waits for proper interaction among senses.

Maya danav architect -civilization?

Maya danav as described in mahabharata refers to an architect, astrologer and engineer but a demon by birth.Maya danav is present in Ramayana and Mahabharat epics. The city of Lankapuri in Sri Lanka was built by Maya, an architect and king of the Danavas. However, Uttarakanda of Ramayana says that Lankapuri was built by Viswakarma.
Maya built a palace of illusions called the Maya Sabha at Indraprastha. It was full of ‘magical’ ponds and lakes as well as natural ponds and lakes. When Duryodhana, the cousin of the Pandavas came to visit, he fell in to a real pond, thinking that it was an artificial one. Maya built this palace for the Pandavas, because Arjuna spared his life in the Khandava Dahanam. Maya Danava also built Tripura, three cities of gold, silver and iron. This was later destroyed by Siva. (Bhagavatham Canto 7.) Valmiki called this Tripura Gopuram. There is an astronomical story (significance) overlayed with this story.Maya is the author of Surya Siddhantam, which he learnt directly from an Amsa of Surya Deva.Friends this is of immense significance as we are trying to find a direct field of reference with the mayan civilization of south america that had emerged during similar periods.
He is called a demon as is a being from another planetary system who is equipped with all sorts of mystic powers and with an astronomic life span. Had the same Maya Danava first worked as an architect in South India and published Vedic texts in order to contribute later to the development of the Maya Culture in Central America, which shows a number of similarities with the Vedic India also in fields different from architecture?
It is also very interesting to have a closer look at a linguistic comparison. Even today there are a number of words in the Maya language which indicate a relation to the Vedic culture. The Maya word K’ultanlini refers to the divine power and has obvious similarities to the Sanskrit word Kundalini which also refers to the life power and the power of consciousness.
The Sanskrit term yoga can be found again in the Maya word Yok’hah, which means at the top of truth. For our considerations, it is most interesting to investigate the connection between the Maya word Chilambalam which is the name for the temple room of the caste-pyramid Chichen Itza. This pyramid has the same plot as a South Indian temple vimana. Both are based on a grid consisting of 8 x 8 squares. In Vasati such a square grid is called Manduka Mandala, the frog mandala. The centre is formed by a square made of four squares, which corresponds to the Brahmasthana, the place of Brahma. At this location the divine energy is so strong that it is not suitable for people to live there. Both in the Vasati temples and in the Maya pyramids the most sacred place of the whole structure is located exactly in this square. The Mayas call this area Chilambalam, which means sacred room. This room is cubic and corresponds to the original form of room itself in Vasati.Adhering to this principle, there is a Shiva-temple in South India in which the sacred room or the room of consciousness is being worshiped. This temple with immaculate proportions is called Chidambaram and ranks amongst the most famous Vasati temples of South India next to Shri Rangam. The same concept of the sacred room or hall of consciousness was called Chilambalam by the Mayas. Another perplexing parallel.

Modern day science as explained in mahabharata.

Mahabharata and science
This are some of the docs that suggest the advancement of science.
Objective :Objective Mahabharata as a modern day science. Time of Mahabharata. Material evidences. So-called ‘modern’ day technology. Medical Science in Mahabharata. Biotechnology. Some obvious questions.
Mahabharata as a modern day science :Mahabharata as a modern day science My favourite character KARNA: has a significant armor and is born from the energy of the Sun. Armor represents the protective covering of the vegetable kingdom that is mostly fended by the Sun’s rays: the energy of the Sun is transferred through the increasing trophic levels in the Earth: The Energy Cycle. Similarly: all the Pandava brothers may be considered to constitute different parts in the making of a man. Yudhistira = Intelligence Bhima = Mind Arjuna = the Breath Nakul = Arms Sahadev = Legs The progressive emergence of a child from the mother’s womb can be compared with the progressive age of the Pandavas.
Time of Mahabharata :Time of Mahabharata The Mahabharata war took place around 7150 years before, the exact date could be rounded to around 5150 B.C. Potteries excavated from three cities: Paniprastha, Sonaprastha and Indraprastha: date the time of Mahabharata which shows considerable consistency with the predicted time. The three cities imply to Delhi’s Puranaqila.
Material Evidences :Material Evidences “After all the people had set out, the ocean flooded Dwarka, which still teemed with wealth of every kind. Whatever portion of land was passed over, the ocean immediately flooded over with its waters.” Ancient Port City. Prosperous land reclaimed by the Sea, evidences from historical records of Bahrain. Discovery of artifacts from the sea bed near Gujarat, signifying being the seal of citizens of Dwarka. Archeological dating corresponds to the non-Aryan invasion of Indian antiquity.
Modern Technology, huh?? :Modern Technology, Gurkha, flying a swift and powerful Vimana (fast aircraft) hurled a single projectile charged with all the power of the Universe, an incandescent column of smoke and flame as bright as ten thousand Suns rose in all splendor…” “…it was an unknown weapon, An iron thunderbolt, A gigantic messenger of death, Which reduced to ashes The entire race of the Vrishnis and the Andhakas.” “ After a few hours All foodstuffs were infected.” “…To escape from this fire The soldiers threw themselves in streams To wash themselves and their equipment.” “…when a warrior discharges a Varunastra which is made of such materials, whose smoke is converted into a cloud. The moment it comes in contact with air it converts the cloud to rain.” Our answer to: GPS mapping. Artificial Rain, Cloud Seeding. Nuclear Weapons.
Bheeshma lying ona bed of arrows:It has been explained through science that when a person is alied the last remedy to revive or keep alive the body from decaying is acupuncture.
An instance of biotechnology:
In Srimadbhagavat, it has been mentioned that when His Excellency Nimi was dead, the seers by process of Mantha, (perhaps, human cloning in modern idioms) created a new baby from his dead body. The baby was called Janaka, as it was out of (mantha) cloning of his father. It was called Videha, as it was born out of a non-sexual process. As the baby was born out of a process of mantha it was called Mithila and his kingdom was also named as Mithila.
The epic also narrate that she-deity “Yoga Maya’ successfully transplanted the embryo found in the womb of Devaki in the womb of Rohini, another wife of Vasudeva, the father of Krishna. This is no more a myth as evident from the successful transplantation of the embryo of a daughter in the womb of her mother by a team of biotechnocrats in USA.Another myth that Taksheela students had reanimated a lion out of its laying bones will be a reality in coming days. People will also see how Zygote of Gandhari (Mahabharata), after abortion, would have been metamorphosed into hundred embryos or hundred sons.
Mahabharata takes various engineering and science marvels completely different levels.

Mahabharata -corporate managementin the physchological level

Lets look at the corporate angle hw mahabahara characters can be personified from the management angle, Krishna is a great Chief Executive. “Protect the right and attack the wrong” is his punch word. He is basically a follower of the righteous path. Yudhistara is an excellent Executive Director. He is a man of principles and bound by values. He never shirks from the truth.
Bhima is a Manager full of emotional reactions. His focus is always to reach the goal rather than the process of achieving the end result.
Arjuna is an eternal student. Learning is his passion and an ardent devotee of Krishna, the Chief Executive.
Duryodhana is highly skillful but ill equipped with tact. He always used to depend on other’s advises.
Karna is a highly efficient & capable warrior but strongly believes and follows his master Duryodhana and as a result went into a negative path.
Draupadi is a typical character, who always reminded the goal or objective of Pandavas. She is like a Powerhouse and whenever the Pandavas used to relax and compromise she was the one, who used to provoke them by reminding the insults done by the Kauruvas in a full open meeting where all the Pandavas, Kauraas and other seniors were present. Her objective is to destroy the enemies completely.
Abhimanyu is a young and energetic Middle Level Manager but unfortunately, he moves forward without any strategy or an appropriate exit path. In this way, every character in Mahabharata can be translated into the present day corporate cadres. In some universities, lot of research is going on these subjects.Lets delve into deeper understanding of the characters and develop our understanding.
The downfall of the kauravas is the perfect example of corporate hegemony where nepotism and corruption takes precedence over higher moral needs.

Method of management:mahabharata lets inlets into various instances where productivity through management has been used for winning wars:The modules include
n this case there has to be tight integration between the different modules of transformation . Below are the modules of transformation in an ideal consulting situation.

1. Vision development:Cosmic vision eye given to arjuna self for development.

2. Strategic Planning:The instances of this have been used by both factions of war.

3. Learning Design– Corporate coaching on Business transformation:Teaching by drona to all the princess.Learning contributes the most in mahabharat but is not the most significant.

4. Project Planning and Management:The kurukshetra battle, the vibes everything include formation of a project planning management. This also includes The game of dice or lakshyagraha.

5. Change Management:Krishnas last moment talks or change of tactics through mahabharat.

6. Business Process Management:Equivalence to the entire kurushetra war.

7. Benefits Management:Krishna benefits his enemy like giving duryodhana his entire narayani sena to fight with although he tactically stays with arjuna.

8. Brand Management :Ashyathamma dead;Using the dead elephants name to represent Ashyathamma the warrior for killing drona.

Karna -sixth sense and virtue.

Karna
Karna, the first son of Kunti, is Attachment(Raga), the inclination that dwells on pleasure. Hence his friendship with Duryodhana (Material Desire), and his battle with his half-brothers, the Pandavas. He is the sixth sense of the mind.Naturally sixth sense is an independent phase of mind.Karna is in direct conflict with self as the self wants to control the sixth sense.Arjuna was thus in direct conflict with Karna. Karna has the deepest regards for krishna. He never attacked any of Shri Krishna's territory when he was on roll to win entire world in battle field. Lord Krishna also had immense regard for Karna. It was Lord Krishna who told Karna abt his 'real identity' as son of Suryadev & Kunti. Though Krishna made Arjun aware of his duties when he was reluctant to kill armourless Karna. This is reflective of the basic fact that consciousness is always aware of the plane of sixth sense though for most the plane remains hidden. Interestingly that in placing karna in context,he has indicated that he is born of the Sun, the light of the consciousness of the spiritual eye, he is brought up by a charioteer, in a place other than where he was born. The sixth sense remains hidden from our view in the early phase of life. This is a significant aspect as Karna comes into reckoning only after the princes need to prove their mettle He is brought up in the Pons Varoli, the seat of Manas, the sense mind, or Dhritarashtra. The word Karna also means “the helm of a ship”; hence Vyaasa is indicating that Karna can be steered inwards through the spiritual eye, to the calm waters of the spiritual consciousness, or outwards into the stormy waters of attachments and sense forces.

The legion of kauravas

when we refer to kauravas we need to to say the prince of kuru or hastinapura. So both Kauravas and pandavas eminently fall under the branch of kauravas.
Let us discuss each and every character.
Dhritarashtra:Dhritarashtra, represents Manas, the Sense Mind, or the Blind Mind, that which is without discriminating power; hence Dhritarashta is born blind, from Ambika and Vyasa. He has two wives.

Gandhari, his first wife, represents the Power of Desires. But desires covers the eye with a black cloak. This means desires are fulfilled by the eyes of the beholder. The desires have no eyes where to go.When a woman buys a rich diamond set it is she who sets her eyes on the diamond which is the object of desire;not vice versa. - Vaishya, his second wife, represents the Attachment of Desires

Duryodhana:Duryodhana, represents Material Desire. He is the firstborn of the 100 sons of Dhritarashtra, with his wife Gandhari. His name is derived from the Sanskrit word dur meaning difficult and yudh meaning to fight. Hence he becomes the king and leader of the Kauravas, the king and leader of all worldly enjoyments. - The 100 sons represent the 100 offspring of the blind sense-mind. These consist of the 5 sense instruments of perception: sight, hearing, smell, taste and touch; and the five sense instruments of action: speech, manual ability, locomotion, procreation and excretion. Each of these ten, have ten tendencies or propensities; hence 100 offspring.
He represents the mind that is lost under the evil effect of vice (shakuni); But we see that no one abandons duryodhana inspite of knowing the very fate of the battle.Battle is symolic of our inner conflicts. Most of us continue to live seemingly unknowing of our senses ;our talents ;our akin qualities but that does not mean our senses abandon us.Duryodhana rules in all of us buys us all the formidable glory gets the support of the sixth sense(karna). We see even a stubborn mind lives with the strong notion of sixth sense which help us take choices in life .Often this choices mislead that leads to the untimely death of the mind and also the sixth sense of perception.

Yuyutsu is born from Dhritarashtra’s second wife, Vaishya. He represents the Desire to give Psychological battle. It is apt that he fights in favor of the pandavas.

Pandu
Pandu, represents Buddhi, the pure discriminating intelligence, the positive aspect of the mind. But pandu is feeble. The positive aspect of the mind easily dies down if it cannot come to terms to certain prerequisite terms and defined notions. The positive mind is isolated ;pandu stays in forest .Postive mind looses to desires as and when he cannot make ends meet or tries to immerse himself in a separate individual. He has two wives. - Kunti, the first wife, represents the Power of Dispassion (free from emotion or Prejudice) - Madri, the second wife, represents the Power of attachment to Dispassion.Madri dies along side pandu attachment persists even to death.

Pandu had 5 sons, 3 from Kunti and 2 from Madri. The 5 sons represent the 5 Tattvas or elements that make up all matter: ether, air, fire, water and earth. The five elements are not elements as defined by science, instead they are five subtle vibratory forces into which the Creative Force differentiates itself. Within the spinal column of man are five subtle centers of consciousness, called Chakras that create and sustain this body. These chakras also bestow divine powers to an enlightened person who has awakened the spiritual consciousness within.

The three sons of Kunti represent the Vishuddha Chakra (cervical), Anahata Chakra (heart), and the Manipura Chakra (lumbar). The two sons of Madri represent the Swadhisthana Chakra (sacral) and Muladhara Chakra (coccyx). The structure of the spinal cord also shows a differentiation supporting the divisions of the three sons of Kunti, with the two sons of Madri. The spinal column extends to the level of the lumbar vertebrae, as one solid structure. From the lower lumbar to the coccyx, the spinal nerves with their ganglia, extend downwards like the tail of a horse, and has been named cauda equina (horses tail). It has the same origin, (as in having the same father) but are at the same time different. They are the location of the 2 sons of Madri. Also significant to the spiritual aspirant (Sadhaka), is the function of the first three chakras, versus the last two. The first three are important in the inner spiritual activities of the Sadhaka; the lower two, are important for the purification of his external activities.

Yudhistir
Yudhistir, is Divine Calmness or Divine Discrimination and the Ether Element in the Cervical Center or Vishuddha Chakra. Ether remains unchanged, and undisturbed by the violent plays of nature’s forces. Similarly, waves of sensual or emotional desires that can ripple the consciousness, and distort perception, have no effect on Yudhistir. He is the power of comparison between good and evil. He is the common sense that perceives all that is virtuous. He is the son of Dharma.Dharma persists in attaining moksha.Dharma is undettered by the maya of life and persist after death.I intend to write more about yudhishtira.

Bhima
Bhima, is Prana, the Power of Vitality, the Air Element in the Dorsal Center, or Anahata Chakra. Hence why Vyasaji wrote that he is the son of the God Vayu, the God of Wind. The aspiring Sadhaka, practices his Pranayama that is controlled by this center, thereby calming the breath and controlling the mind and all of its sense objects.

Arjuna
Arjuna, is Self-Control, the Fire Element in the Lumbar Center or Manipura Chakra. This center is for the purification of mind and body, making intense meditation possible. Arjuna is seen as the chief devotee of Lord Krishna, because he represents self-control, patience and determination, without which, no spiritual progress is possible. This center provides the fire-force of mental and bodily strength to ward off the attack of the sense forces of materialism and sense-bound body consciousness.

Nakula
Nakula, is Adherence, the Power to Obey Rules of Dharma, the Water Element in the Sacral Center, or Swadhishthana Chakra. Adherence to Dharmic principles, allows the Sadhaka to control mental tendencies.

Sahadeva
Sahadeva, is Restraint, the Earth Element in the Coccyx Center, or Muladhara Chakra. He is the Power of Resistance by which restless outer sense organs can be controlled.

The other characters amidst the kauravas remain solemnly silent though we can learn more about this charcters in detail in the later section.dusyasana can be of significance. He represents Dur means difficult and syasana means lack of control.Dusyasana unrobes and disesteems "draupadi" a perfect representation of mind. The layers of robes represents the layers of mind which is far too complex to unfold as it has many layers.

Vyaasa and lead as audience

Vyasa:Satyavati’s first child is - Vyasa. God has to cloak his consciousness in order to conceive creation thus Vyaasa is black. He has to project His Singular Reality into the idea of Duality. This represents Vyasa, the Power to perceive and discern the differentiation from Singularity and Duality. This is done through the two wives that he eventually weds. -
Vyaasa has been categorised through his various attributes.Vyasa, the sage to whom the Mahabharata is attributed, is a figure of intrigue. He is supposed to be the creator of the poem, but appears as a character as well.
wecan identify Vyasa from three aspects:
Vyasa As Person:The historical Vyasa is given to us as the prime compiler of the Mahabharata. There is argument as to whether or not Vyasa was a singular person, and there always will be.Aquestion also arises what guides Vyasa to write mahabharata and also be a part of it.
Vyasa as a Character in the Mahabharata:Vyasa was the progenitor of the Pandavas and the Kurus in the Mahabharata. This circumstance is shown in the poem, as well as Vyasa’s actions throughout the poem.In the Mahabharata Vyasa the character never is seen telling the tale. As pointed out above, Vyasa must have involved himself in the telling of the tale to pass it on, or to write it down in history. In the Mahabharata, however, the tale is always being told by someone else. Vyasa takes an active participation throughout the poem, but never tells the tale. This distinction is what separates the person from the character.
Vyasa as Poet:Vyasa as poet is the combination of Vyasa as archetype and Vyasa as person. Vyasa in writing the Mahabharata used the psychological mode of creation to write or collect what he knew about events and people(including himself), but in the visionary mode he was taken by the drive to write the unfamiliar as well.
Many questions remain unanswered about Vyasa who remains explained as a figure of intrigue. He does not fight the war but remains an active quotient in the fight and depiction of this fight.Vyaasa sees the gita being explained to Arjuna by krishna. Is vyasa who writes the mahabaharata an allegory or a refined individual. Why does he ask Ganesh to write the mahabharata for him. What can be meaning of telling the mahabharata in one go and never to stop as ganesh writes.Does this continuous motion represent time.Do you think Vyasa stopped dictating durin the mahabharata. What happens to vyasa after the war.

Bheehma and Amba DNA crosslinking mutations

Bheeshma
Bheeshma remains the free yet the ever bound being. He remains free from grudges and power mongering but is tied to the seat of Hastinapura.Hastinapura is allegorical to materialistic world.Bheeshma represents the protector of this world yet he represents the purest form.He represents the DNA of this world. The DNA cannot be destroyed. The DNA chooses his death. The DNA cannot be changed and can also not be encoded .Bheeshma remains unruffled even during the death of his beloved but lays his arms in front of shikhandi.Shikhandi is the allegorical representation of mutation.A DNA fails to encode self ina long mutation.Cross linking can change the DNA and even bring a redundant chain.Bheeshma does not die but remains in an inactive state during the rest of the war. And chooses to die when the entire kaurava clan gets uprooted.

Ambika/Ambalika/Amba
Ambika, represents perception without clear discernment (negative doubt). She gives birth to Dhritarashta. o Ambalika, represents positive discriminating faculty. She gives birth to Pandu.
Amba represents a women torn between love and sacrilege.A conflicting RNA but purest in beings.
friends read this about DNA mutations
A DNA polymerase is copying this template strand to form a complementary strand. So far the complementary bases T, G, G, A, and C have been added to the growing DNA chain. The next step is the addition of a T, which is the complementary base for the A on the template strand:far all is well. But all nucleic acid polymerases are imperfect – they make mistakes now and then. This means that they insert the wrong base. In the next step below, the DNA polymerase has inserted an A instead of the correct G:Insertion of the wrong base leads to a mutation – a change in the sequence of the DNA. In general, it’s not a good idea to make new DNAs with a lot of mutations, because the encoded protein won’t function well (but there are exceptions, as well will see). But in this case, there is a solution – DNA-dependent DNA polymerases (enzymes that copy DNA templates into DNA) have proofreading abilities. The proofreader is an enzyme called exonuclease, which recognizes the mismatched A-C base pair, and removes the offending A. DNA polymerase then tries again, and this time inserts the correct G:
A strange perception to the fact that Bheeshma wanted to put all the three princesses from Kashi into the base thats hastinapura. But a one that is Amba proved to be wrong for base and eventually led to the DNA mutation. This can also be proved from the fact that Amba wanted to marry Bheeshma ;this is of significance as insertion of a wrong base leads to a mutation as shikhandi and eventually led to the downfall of hastinapura.

The physical level of mahabharata

Let us start from the rig veda Various gods are given names to personify the supreme power man finds unexplainable:
* Indra is the God of Prana or the awakened life-force. ...
* Agni is the God of consciousness, awareness and mindfulness. His symbol is the sacred fire. ...
* Soma is the mystic plant that yields the nectar of immortality. He is also the Moon and the lord of the waters. He symbolizes bliss, Ananda.
* Surya is the Sun which is the visible face and presence of the Deity. He symbolizes the enlightened mind and creative intelligence. He is the Divine creator and transformer.
* Varuna, the lord of the cosmic ocean and the Divine judge;
* Mitra the Divine friend and lord of compassion and
* Savitar, the Sun God of creative intelligence. ...
* Usha, the Goddess of the Dawn or spiritual aspiration;
* Saraswati, the Goddess of the Divine Word, of wisdom and inspiration;
* Aditi the Goddess of Infinite Oneness and Wholeness; ...
* Apas, the Cosmic Waters. ....
* Brahma ... the creator ... is Brihaspati, also called Brahmanaspati, the priest of the Gods.
* Vishnu ... the maintainer ... is an important form of the Sun God and later all forms of the Sun God were merged into him. [ Avatars of Vishnu include Rama and Krishna ]
* Shiva ... the destroyer ... is present as Rudra, the seldom invoked but very much respected and feared father of all the Gods. [ Ganesha is a son of Shiva ] ...

We all know that the Mahabharat represents the fight between good and evil of self.Mahabharata represents the fight between our sensory perceptions and consciousness;a conflict between the ego of self to that of the collective universe.

Let us now categorize each and every character of mahabharata:
SHANTANU
He is representative of God, the Para-Brahman, and the father of all creation. All beings evolved from his cosmic consciousness. This is done through his two wives. Ganga (1st wife) She represents the Spiritual aspect of Nature, the Chaitanya, or Consciousness or Maha-Prakriti. Satyavati (2nd wife) She represents Primordial Nature. She is matter. She is the force that manifests into the Universe with all of its sensory, thinking and active beings. Her essence represents the freshness of nature. She chides bheeshma because bheeshma is pure and untouchable.Primadorial nature remains isolated from view but effects one and all.

Ganga
Ganga as the consciousness aspect of Nature is further differentiated into 8 intelligences. Hence the 8 sons of Ganga. - Kutashta Chaitanya, the Universal unchangeable Consciousness or Spirit that pervades the Universe; - The Six Intelligences governing the 3 macrocosmic manifestations, and 3 Microcosmic manifestations of the causal, astral and physical universe; - Abhasya Chaitanya, (the symbolism of BHISHMA), self-consciousness, ahamkara, or universal ego. Ganga represents the channel flow of energy in our body. Our body consist of energy centers which are linked through a system of streams.

vibration and self:Power of Aum

somethin has bothered me ever since i read that one can tune up ones body in an article
It's All About Energy: Tune Your Vibrations with Soundby Dr. Jane Ma'ati Smith C.Hyp. Msc.D.
including the article
Every thing within the Universe, animated or unanimated, solid matter and mere thought, is made up from, and held together with energy. Yes, it’s true. The chair you are sitting in, the music you might be listening to, the food you ate for dinner, and even your neighbor's cat... everything is essentially made of and held together with energy.

Within this energy, very small particles of matter vibrate at specific frequencies, which in turn manifest into different physical and nonphysical forms. Physical objects, sound and light, and even our thoughts and dreams are permeated with, formed by, and projected out into reality by Energy.

Our physical bodies have a slower vibration, while our emotions and thoughts have a higher and faster vibration. Therefore, the slower the vibration, the more dense and solid the matter appears, and, the higher the vibration, the less solid, like in the case of our thoughts and feelings (which are similar in density to sound and light).
Our bodies (which are permeated with and held together by energy) will tend to resonate with the sympathetic vibration of our feelings and thoughts (thus, our physical bodies are actually influenced by, and even formed by our thoughts and emotions). Our bodies will also pick up on the energies that are around us, and also, attract people "resonating" at a similar frequency. That is the reason behind the idea "Like Attracts Like".

So how can we elevate what our bodies attract, and attract people and events that will help to advance us? We can elevate our vibrations by elevating our thoughts and emotions. Sounds simple, doesn't it? If we can learn to control our thoughts and emotions, it will create higher vibrations. These higher vibrations will allow us to tap into the vibrations of the Universe to bring about all what we want by manifesting our desires... but you probably have already tried to "control" your thoughts and emotions, and know how far that kind of "control" goes....

Exposing your mind and body directly to a positive resonant frequency through the use of sound therapy techniques can be a viable short cut to changing your own resonant frequency. Think about it- sound is a fundamental and uniting resonant energy, and used correctly, it can directly and positively effect your own resonate frequency very quickly and easily.
Binaural beats can very directly and easily influence your vibration positively. If two different tones are played into each ear, the brain attempts to find a balance- for example, if the frequency of sound in your left ear is 420Hz, and the frequency you're hearing in your right ear is 430Hz, your brain will process a binaural beat of about 10Hz. It's been discovered that these beats can be used to elicit responses in the brain; the brain becomes "entrained", which means it starts to resonate at the same frequency as the binaural beat. When this happens, it can change the brain wave patterns in your brain temporarily. This has been shown to have a huge effect- it's been shown that Everything in the Universe, including you, is made up of energy, and you can fine tune your vibration through the use of sound.
This has been proved by the vedas which says Aum is the sound of the universe
